Hi!
The best way is on the www.gnhusa.org website. There you will find the Conference Program and Speaker Bios, as well as a registration tool. You can also look at the blog and quotes and reference section to learn more about GNH and well-being indicators.

If you have any questions, please email tom@gnhusa.org
Thanks and we hope to see you at the conference!

Kudos to GNHUSA. I appreciate your initiative to promote GNH values and Principles in the materialistic American Society. GNH is not simply a talking philosophy. It is possible to practice it in any society and in any parts of the world. GNH is universal and applies to any religion. GNH is all about being good, mindful and values infused human beings. Nothing complicated any way.

May this initiative taken by GNHUSA be successful. May GNH illuminate this dark world with light of happiness and peace for all the sentient being for ever and ever.

I m sure its a great and noble initiative ,an opportunity to reflect back on things from a small to a huge, because understanding Gross National happiness is not only for our own good but for the happiness wellbeing of all our friends around the globe.Thinking on common happiness is like a calming perfume,it starts from a corner and sure that it would reach the rest of a place in a room.Studying Happiness helps us to research and look back on things what we have done so far.In a materialistic world its common at times we fail to prioritise long term sustainable happiness goals for the sake of short term happiness and acheivements.Thats why such forums and missions not only play a key role, but inspires rest of our friends to take a lead for acheiving a common goal of living a better and peaceful life what i call exploring the innerspace in ourselves.I m sure it would work and create an impact .Therefore keep going and May the program be a very successful one.

Hi Dan,
The work is the effort to educate citizens, governments, NGOs, schools, businesses and the media to look at policy and planning through a different lens of a comprehensive set of well-being indicators. The June Conference provides opportunities to learn what is happening with implementation of these types of indicators in Maryland, Brazil, Europe and Vermont. Day One is about the development of best practices. Day Two is about Happiness and indicators. Day Three starts with Bill McKibben on making a movement and continues with launching GNHUSA, a national movement to spread GNH ideas. We see these ideas as transformative. We hope to see you at the Conference.

I wish this program a great success in your country.
The GNH in Bhutan-now in the schools has tremendous positive implications from a simple habits to complex concepts.
I love the GNH concepts and enjoy imparting the values and skills of GNH to my students...eventhough it is just a beginning. Yet, I see a lot of changes in my students and myself. I am more excited to be GNH teacher.
May your program brings a lot of participants and carry the concept of GNH worldwide.

With due respect and love to our Kings(IVth and Vth)of our wonderful country Bhutan.

This all sounds great, but what exactly is "the work"? Anything beyond talking to each other? I'm not against talk, but I'd like to know if there are any concrete goals beyond theory, surveys, and consciousness-raising. To put it another way, who or what would have to be influenced for this to change the world?
