Susan serves as the Vice President for GNHUSA. Recognized as an innovative and energetic cross-sector corporate social impact strategist, catalyst, and convener, Susan designs, builds and evaluates a portfolio of social impact programs. She engages employees in making a difference for causes they care about, increasing community well-being by reducing health and economic disparities. Currently the Principal Community Relations Consultant at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, she is a passionate advocate for a corporate culture of social impact and employee engagement.
Certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources, her work experience includes consulting, planning, and human resources leadership positions.. She facilitates a quarterly corporate workshop – Innovation: Creativity Driving Results – to spur intrapreneurship, entrepreneurs within. She has served on multiple nonprofit boards, earned her MBA from the University of Saint Thomas, and is pursuing a PhD focused on the intersections of well-being and happiness at work, community collaboration, leadership and change at Hamline University. She and her husband live in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and are the proud parents of two grown children.
